"Relationships"

As the New Year rolls in I want to talk about things we should be changing or looking for in relationships. When I say relationships I mean ones with friends, co-workers, family, significant others and the most important one is the one you have with God. Again I can not stress that the Bible has answers to questions you have especially one about the types of relationships and friendships you have. One thing everyone should take to heart is this verse 1 Corinthians 15:33 (ESV)"Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” The people you surround yourself with is very important, the more you are with them the tendencies others have may rub off on you and vice versa. It is important to have God in the middle of any relationship He should be the rock which you build forth your relationships. 1 Chronicles 12:17 (ESV) "David went out to meet them and said to them, “If you have come to me in friendship to help me, my heart will be joined to you; but if to betray me to my adversaries, although there is no wrong in my hands, then may the God of our fathers see and rebuke you.” So for this New Year coming reflect on your relationships and build one with God if you have not yet, or if you have strengthen it.
