The story of Jonah and the whale is one of the most famous stories we’ve seen in the bible. I’ve been thinking about it a lot and how much we really can relate to Jonah. A lot of the times God wants us to go and do the things he wants us to complete but we are nervous to leave our little bubble. I have been hearing this saying over and over recently and it says “ If you're comfortable you’re vulnerable”. A lot of the time it’s easy to tell God hey  I know you want me to pray for that person or go and do that but I like where I am, that’s out of my comfort zone. I think it’s funny that we tell God we like what we have because we often forget God always has bigger things in store for our lives, and that sometimes means giving up what we have right now and follow God to our bigger blessing. Jonah ran away from what God told him to do but he still went and fulfilled what God wanted. We can’t run from what God wants for our lives we can only delay it. So it’s your choice to take the step of faith and listen and trust God or delay and stay in your “comfort zone”.
