Blessing the Food

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (ESV)

"give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

Everyday we get to wake up the morning, we get to get eat, be with loved ones, work, and enjoy life. Often we correlate giving thanks to the holiday thanksgiving. Giving thanks should not be a one day thing and not just for the big things that happen in our lives. We should not take for granted the little things we get to do everyday, something as simple as being able to wake up and breathe. we should thank God for all the opportunities He has laid out for us. We should take time out of our day to give Him the Glory and thanks we all know He deserves. We often bypass the miniscule things we do everyday that have become sort of a routine, because it is something we do everyday, like working or being able to talk with love ones, we should thank God for the ability to be able to work and provide. For those who are in harder circumstances give thanks to God because you have faith that He will take you out of the hole your in and lift you to greater opportunities than you have possibly imagined for your self and loved ones. Giving thanks should be an everyday occurrence bot just when you are given something in the moment.

Colossians 3:15 (ESV)

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
