I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O Lord, I will make music.

This week I want to talk about the connection music has with us and the way we can connect it with God. Often times it is hard to find a way to connect with God, the word and Gospel. There is something for everyone. I like to think music is the one most have in common. when we really think about it we find music in everyday life. when were in the car, on our phones, when in stores, gyms and movies and tv shows. we encounter it often in day. If your like me I often use to focus when I'm doing a task, it helps me relax and work with smaller interruptions. 

1 Chronicles 16:42 (ESV)

Heman and Jeduthun had trumpets and cymbals for the music and instruments for sacred song. The sons of Jeduthun were appointed to the gate.

God uses music often in the Bible for people to join one another, it's something everyone can relate with and have a connection with. so when you have trouble finding the words in prayer or using the gospel, use music. Find something that connects with the Lord, something you can help use to praise and worship Him in every moment in the day. 

Colossians 3:16 (ESV)

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
