This week let’s talk about gentleness and how God wants us to show it. For example a lot of the time we just wanna be straight forward and tell people hey that’s not right don’t do that! Although God says to always talk with respect and gentleness. Now it’s important that we understand what showing someone gentleness is, this can be as simple as just taking time to really think on the tone of your voice or how others might hear it. We want to be firm but also don’t want to seem as if we are forcing or arguing with people. In proverbs 15:1 it says a soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Like I said I think God really wants us to watch our words when telling none believers the gospel, we don’t want to water it’s down so much that we spread false narratives but we don’t want to be so harsh that people getting angry at God. Our time is now to spread the word and be fisher men and women, but remember to be calm patient and most importantly loving and gentle.
