People in a Bar

"Interacting"

We all have something in common in our day-to-day lives, we interact with others. What I want to talk about interacting with others and the impressions they leave and the ones you do. Often you will cross paths with people who will bring negativity into your life. There you have the option to add to their negativity or try to add positivity.

Hebrews 4:12 (ESV)

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

There will always be the one you can only do so much for, those usually try to drag you down with them. That is were the word of God and the Holy Spirit should be telling you whether or not it is your job to be the one to help them. We often try to help those who do not want any, but at a point there we have to pray and see if while you think your helping that your not being infected with their ways. there is a saying " you can tell a lot about a person by who they surround themselves with." I like this saying because if you look closely you will notice that the longer people are around each other they tend to pick up mannerisms from those they are with.

Proverbs 12:26

One who is righteous is a guide to his neighbor,

but the way of the wicked leads them astray.

1 Corinthians 15:33

Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”

2 Timothy 2:22

So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
